Questions, answered
Delivery is R80 in Gauteng and R150 anywhere else in South Africa, and it is free on any order of R1,500 or more.
Standard delivery is also free when your order includes any two pairs of blue light glasses, reading glasses or Move sunglasses, at any price and including end-of-line frames. Two of the same frame count, and so does a mix. The exact cost shows at checkout before you pay. More on our delivery page.
You can return frames within 30 days of delivery for a refund or an exchange, as long as they are unworn (tried on only), in their original packaging and complete with their tags and cases.
Once the frames reach us and pass that check, we refund you within 10 working days to the payment method you used. You pay the return courier unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong one. This is on top of your legal rights under the ECTA (7-day cooling-off on online purchases) and the Consumer Protection Act. Full details are on our returns page.
Yes. Every Ray-Ban, Oakley and Vogue frame we sell comes through Luxottica, the company that makes them, and Aweh Eyewear is a verified Luxottica reseller.
You can check that yourself: Aweh Eyewear is listed on Ray-Ban’s own store locator. Every frame is the manufacturer’s own product in the manufacturer’s own colourways, never a replica or a lookalike.
Blue light glasses, reading glasses and Ray-Ban, Oakley, Vogue and Hugo frames all come with a microfibre cleaning cloth. Move sunglasses do not include one, but you can add a cloth for R40.
Anything else, such as a case, depends on the model and is listed under “What’s in the box” on each product page. If a listing is unclear, ask us before you order and we will check that exact frame.
Either way you get the same genuine Aweh stock, because Aweh Eyewear also sells on Takealot.
Buying here gets you website-only offers such as clearance prices, free delivery on two pairs or R1,500+, our 30-day returns handled by us directly, and a person to talk to on WhatsApp. On Takealot, Takealot’s own prices, delivery and returns terms apply. Reviews on our product pages that came from Takealot are labelled as Takealot buyers.
